Three Congregations = Christ Lutheran Parish

+   Salem Lutheran

+  St. Paul Lutheran

+  Zion Lutheran

Each congregation lives out the story of Jesus in a particular way with particular people.  Each congregation has a history of faithfulness continuing to the present, as they to seek to follow God’s call with joy and thanksgiving.  The congregations serve in a variety of ways…some do quilting, some gather food, some share fellowship, some host community groups, others support local charities.

What’s important is that …

…each congregation is alive and is always being made new.

What We Believe

  • This is Christ’s church.
  • There is a place for you here.

We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.

You are welcome to be a part of God’s work in Christ’s name for the life of the world.

Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called …

The church is called. God’s call is an invitation and a challenge.

  • God invites us to participate in God’s life. God invites us to share in the presence and power of relationship between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • God challenges us to join God’s mission in the world. Our purpose is to embody God’s reconciling and redeeming love for all creation.

Ephesians 4:4-6

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.

This passage makes the point that the church is to reflect the God we serve. This is a powerful passage that shows to us just how unified our lives should be for we serve a God who is one. We join together as one body. The one Spirit directs us all. We all serve one Lord. We are all part of one faith. We all have been cleansed by one baptism. The one God who is Father of all loves us all.
